Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ200-281515- 848 PM CST Fri Jan 27 2023 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... Onshore flow is expected to strengthen tonight with winds ranging between 20-25 knots, mainly across the offshore zones. Winds closer to the coast are expected to be moderate ranging between 15-20 knots. Winds across the bays and nearshore waters will strengthen tomorrow afternoon around 20-25 knots, likely needing to be added to the Small Craft Advisory. Scattered showers are expected tonight across the local waters with the activity becoming more isolated tomorrow. However, scattered to numerous showers with isolated thunderstorms are expected once again tomorrow night. Winds are expected to diminish Sunday with southerly flow becoming weak to moderate 10 to 15 kts. Midweek, another frontal boundary will move offshore shifting flow to the northeast and increasing around 20 kts. Isolated thunderstorms are possible Sunday then isolated to scattered showers can be expected through the end of the work week. $$ |
