Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves...along with occasional height of the average highest 10 percent of the waves. GMZ200-251915- 1212 AM CST Sun Jan 25 2026 .SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS... A strong to near Gale (BF 6-7) north wind has settled in behind the strong arctic front. Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected through Monday. Gust to gale will be possible at times, especially Sunday night. Rain chances will increase to a moderate to high chance and continue through Sunday morning before diminishing in the afternoon. Temperatures will be around freezing along the coast with wind chill values feeling well below freezing through Monday morning. Gentle to moderate onshore flow briefly returns the middle of next week before another cold front pushes through and shifts winds out of the north to northeast Wednesday. Strong to near gale force conditions may close out the week as another strong cold front pushes through. $$ |
