DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 1100 AM AST (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Fay was located near latitude 24.2 North, longitude 47.3 West. The depression is moving toward the southwest near 12 mph (19 km/h), and this motion is expected to continue the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Little change in strength is forecast, and Fay is forecast to become a post-tropical cyclone on Wednesday.
