DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 1100 AM HST (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone 
Genevieve was located near latitude 24.8 North, longitude 139.5 
West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-northwest 
near 13 mph (20 km/h). This general motion is expected to continue 
over the next day or so, followed by a decrease in forward speed and 
a turn toward the northwest by Tuesday.
 
Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher 
gusts. Continued weakening is forecast over the next several days, 
and the post-tropical low is expected to dissipate by late this 
week. 
 
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 105 miles (165 km)
from the center.
 
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1009 mb (29.80 inches).
