We had some serious repeat anglers on board this past week and they wanted Snook action. They wanted, we delivered. We found nice Snook along the mouth of the Caloosahatchee river on both the Fort Myers and Cape Coral sides. Big hearing did the trick for us on the higher tides.Â
We also found a steady Snook bite with plenty of fish chewing on the east side of Pine Island Sound directly across from Sanibel and Captiva Islands. We also found some big tout mixed in with the Snook on the late morning high tides along the Fort Myers and Cape Coral shorelines. Cut bait worked best for them hungry boys!
Cape Coral fishing has been fantastic during the month of April and should stay strong during the month of May.Â
