A weak front that has meandered just north of the area will drop
southward today and stall across the region. A series of low
pressure systems will pass along the front, resulting in the
chance for showers and storms today. Easterly winds increase
behind the boundary with stronger northeast winds expected late
Friday into Saturday as low pressure deepens offshore.
