DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Georgette was located near latitude 16.5 North, longitude 115.9 West. Georgette is moving toward the west near 9 mph (15 km/h). A gradual turn to the west-southwest is anticipated over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds have increased to near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts. Some gradual strengthening is forecast over the next 24-48 hours followed by little change in intensity thereafter.
