DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Daniel was located near latitude 16.2 North, longitude 126.9 West. The depression is moving toward the northeast near 13 mph (20 km/h) and this motion is expected to continue today. Daniel is forecast to turn toward the northwest by tomorrow. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Daniel is forecast to weaken further and become a remnant low by tonight.
