DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Emilia was located near latitude 22.3 North, longitude 125.3 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19 km/h) and this general motion with a decrease in forward speed and turn westward is expected over the next couple of days. Maximum sustained winds are near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is forecast, and the post-tropical remnant low is expected to dissipate by the end of this weekend. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1004 mb (29.65 inches).
