DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK ---------------------- At 200 PM PDT (2100 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Bud was located near latitude 19.2 North, longitude 120.5 West. The post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 10 mph (17 km/h), and this general motion is expected to continue through the rest of today. A slower west-southwestward motion is forecast this weekend. Maximum sustained winds have weakened to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Further weakening is expected, and the system is forecast to dissipate by Sunday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1008 mb (29.77 inches).
