.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
A period of moderate to strong easterly winds this afternoon and
tonight (gales over the coastal waters) becoming southerly to
southwesterly Sunday. Dangerous seas will accompany these strong
winds and build to as high as 8-11 ft over the outer coastal
waters. Southwest winds decrease on Sunday, but increase to SCA
levels once again Sunday night into the first half of Monday
behind a cold front. High pressure brings more pleasant boating
conditions Tuesday through midweek.
