.SYNOPSIS...
For much of the coastal waters, a light to moderate offshore flow
behind a meandering cool front will continue for the remainder of
the work week. However ahead of the boundary, winds will stay
light and variable. Meanwhile, the risk for sea fog will remain,
as a saturated airmass moves over the relatively cooler shelf
waters. Widely scattered showers will also be possible over the
coastal waters through mid-week. By Thursday, another storm system
is expected to induce surface low pressure development over the
northwest Gulf of Mexico, with this low forecast to push eastward
across the coastal waters, with more widespread showers and
thunderstorms expected in its vicinity. Once the low passes,
precipitation and fog are expected to diminish.
