 Breezy northeasterly winds will prevail across the local waters of
 South Florida through late tonight as periods of Small Craft
 Exercise Caution (SCEC) conditions (sustained winds of 15-19 knots
 with higher gusts) remain possible across both the Atlantic and Gulf
 waters as a pressure gradient fluctuates across the region. Wave
 heights in the Atlantic and the Gulf will remain in the 2-3 feet
 range into early Thursday as they remain wind-driven. Shower and
 thunderstorm chances will increase across the southern local waters
 today before increasing in coverage across the rest of the region
 during the remainder of the work week. Locally higher seas and winds
 will be possible in and around any shower or thunderstorm activity.
 
 While uncertainty remains, forecast confidence continues to increase
 for the potential of elevated seas and waves across the local waters
 of South Florida this weekend into early next week.
