.SYNOPSIS...
Moderate easterly winds across the Atlantic and Gulf waters will
gradually become southeasterly on Thursday. These elevated winds
combined with northeasterly swell will result in the potential of
Small Craft Advisory conditions occurring across our northern
Atlantic waters as wave heights could approach 7 feet in the Gulf
Stream. Winds will then become southwesterly on Friday as the
northeasterly swell in the Atlantic waters will slowly subside
through the end of the week. A cold front will pass through the
local waters late Saturday increasing the chances of showers as it
approaches. Behind the front, hazardous marine conditions will be
possible for the second half of the weekend.
Gulf Stream Hazards: Waves up to 7 feet are possible across the
northern Atlantic waters.
