Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas
1025 AM EDT Thu Apr 24 2025
.SYNOPSIS...High pressure off the Mid-Atlantic will support freshening
easterly breezes this afternoon, peaking overnight Thursday. As
the high slowly slides eastward in the west-central North Atlantic,
breezes will modestly slacken for Friday afternoon through the
weekend, becoming moderate to occasionally fresh. A second area of
high pressure will push eastward from the Mid-Atlantic into the
western North Atlantic for early next week, helping to reinforce
the stagnant, mainly dry synoptic pattern.
