   Areas affected...portions of eastern Kentucky...eastern
   Tennessee...southern West Virginia...western Virginia...western
   North Carolina

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 526...

   Valid 281939Z - 282145Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 526
   continues.

   SUMMARY...Severe threat continues within WW526.

DISCUSSION...Thunderstorms continue across portions of WW526, with
more discrete supercells noted across portions of eastern West
Virginia into west Virginia and southward into eastern Tennessee.
Low-level rotation has remained transient and weak with these,
likely owing to the generally modest low-level flow. Strong deep
layer shear will continue to support supercell modes, with potential
for large hail, damaging wind, and perhaps a tornado or two.

Additionally, a more clustered/mutli-cell structures continue back
to the west in western Kentucky. These will continue to pose a risk
for damaging wind and large hail.
