Areas affected...portions of central and eastern Colorado

   Concerning...Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385...

   Valid 240303Z - 240430Z

The severe weather threat for Severe Thunderstorm Watch 385
   continues.

SUMMARY...An uptick in severe hail is expected over the next several
hours. A few severe gusts are also possible.

DISCUSSION...Multiple supercells have recently initiated and matured
across portions of central into northeastern Colorado amid an
increase in 700 mb WAA. MRMS mosaic radar imagery suggests severe
hail is falling with these storms, with some stones potentially
reaching the 2-4 inch diameter range in Morgan County. 02Z
mesoanalysis depicts 3000-4000 J/kg MLCAPE and 60+ kts of effective
bulk shear in proximity to these storms, so the ambient environment
supports an increase in the production of significant-severe hail
and perhaps some severe gusts for any supercells that can become
   sustained.
