.SYNOPSIS FOR THE MIDDLE TEXAS COASTAL WATERS...

Strong to very strong offshore flow will persist through Sunday
with Gale force wind gusts focused over the northern offshore
waters this evening. Northeasterly winds will only slightly
decrease Sunday night to 20-25 knots. Moderate to strong north-
northeasterly flow will continue early in the workweek, becoming
moderate late Monday. Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected
to persist through Monday evening due to these elevated winds. An
influx of tropical moisture associated with an an area of low
pressure that has developed over the Bay of Campeche will occur as
the system moves into the western Gulf of Mexico late this
weekend and propagates towards the coast in the early to middle
part of next week. Medium rain chances tonight through Sunday
night will increase to high Monday through Wednesday. Mariners
should continue to monitor the forecast as there is a high chance
a tropical depression forms over the southwest to west Gulf
through the next 7 days as the disturbances shifts northward.
