.Synopsis For High Island to the Matagorda Ship Channel Out 60 NM
including Galveston and Matagorda Bays.
Visibilities have improved early this morning allowing for an
early expiration of the Dense Fog Advisory. Pockets of patchy fog
will remain possible through the mid-morning hours. Winds and
seas will be on an upward trend in advance of the next front
leading to the issuance of a Small Craft Advisory this afternoon
into tonight. The front itself is expected to pass across the
waters tonight. Areas of showers and thunderstorms are expected
ahead of and along the front. Winds will turn westerly in its
wake, then veer through northerly and easterly Sunday and early
Monday. Onshore flow should return by late Monday.

slight chance of showers early this morning. A chance of showers
with a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
TONIGHT
South winds 15 to 20 knots, becoming southwest after
midnight. Seas 4 to 6 feet, occasionally to 8 feet. Wave Detail:
South 5 feet at 7 seconds. Showers with a chance of thunderstorms
in the evening. Patchy fog after midnight.
SUNDAY
Northwest winds around 15 knots with gusts up to
20 knots, diminishing to around 10 knots in the afternoon. Seas
3 to 5 feet. Wave Detail: South 4 feet at 7 seconds.
