.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Breezy SW winds especially across the Gulf Stream waters are
forecast today out ahead of an approaching front resulting in SCA
conditions over the outer portions of our coastal waters from
Oregon Inlet to Surf City. Showers likely with chance of some
strong thunderstorms Sunday evening into early Monday. Winds and
seas relax from Monday onwards into midweek bringing favorable
boating conditions to the region. A second stronger front then
tracks across the region on Thursday into Friday bringing a threat
for SCA's and gales to our waters.
