.Synopsis for Eastern North Carolina coastal waters...
Ongoing shower and thunderstorm risk will continue early this
morning for offshore waters ahead of a slow-moving cold front.
Shower and thunderstorm risk remains elevated through the weekend
as front meanders around area waters. Stronger front approaches on
Monday with a likely period of SCA for most area waters starting
Sunday. A low is forecast to develop on the boundary and work
north through the Carolinas early next week before the front
finally clears the area mid- week with high pressure building in
 behind it.
