.SYNOPSIS FOR PASCAGOULA TO ATCHAFALAYA RIVER OUT 60 NM...

Light onshore winds of around 10 knots and seas of 2 feet or less
will be in place through Wednesday night. Conditions also look
favorable for fog to develop in the nearshore waters, sounds, and
lakes each night through at least Wednesday night. On Thursday, an
approaching low pressure system will help to increase winds to 10 to
15 knots. By Friday, these onshore winds should increase further to
15 to 20 knots as the low strengthens. Seas will respond by
increasing to 3 to 5 feet in the open Gulf waters. The low will push
a cold front through the waters on Saturday, and winds will shift to
the northwest. These winds will increase to small craft advisory
range by Saturday night as a cold and dry airmass moves in.
