The axis of a weak surface trough will be in place over the over the
Atlantic waters today, with gentle to moderate NErly winds across
the local waters. This feature will gradually lift north, The trough
will continue to shift east as a cold front approaches the region,
allowing for winds to back out of the north-northwest with time.
