Synopsis for Keys coastal waters from Ocean Reef to Dry Tortugas

.SYNOPSIS...As high pressure drifts eastward over the next
several days and eventually into the western North Atlantic,
north to northeast winds will clock around to the northeast to
east. The next frontal boundary is progged to push through the
Florida Keys marine zones on Sunday night. Ahead of the front,
elevated chances for showers and thunderstorms will be possible
late Saturday through early Sunday. In the wake of the frontal
passage, fresh to strong northeasterly breezes are expected Sunday
night through at least Tuesday.

2 feet, building to around 2 feet. Nearshore waters a light to
moderate chop. Isolated showers.
SATURDAY NIGHT
East winds 10 to 15 knots, becoming northeast
and decreasing to 5 to 10 knots. Seas around 2 feet, subsiding to
1 to 2 feet. Nearshore waters a light to moderate chop, becoming
smooth to a light chop. Scattered showers.
SUNDAY
North to northeast winds 5 to 10 knots, increasing to 10
to 15 knots. Seas around 1 foot, building to 1 to 2 feet. West of
Cosgrove Shoal Light, seas 1 to 2 feet, building to 2 to 3 feet.
Nearshore waters smooth a light chop, becoming a light to
moderate chop. Scattered showers.
SUNDAY NIGHT
North to northeast winds 10 to 15 knots,
increasing to near 20 knots. Seas 1 to 2 feet, building to 2 to 3
feet. West of Cosgrove Shoal Light, seas 2 to 3 feet, building to
3 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet. Nearshore waters a light to
moderate chop, becoming rough. Isolated showers.
MONDAY AND MONDAY NIGHT
Northeast winds near 20 knots. Seas 2
to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet, except 4 to 5 feet,
occasionally to 6 feet west of Cosgrove Shoal Light. Nearshore
waters rough. Isolated showers.
TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT
Northeast winds 15 to 20 knots. Seas
2 to 3 feet, except 3 to 4 feet, occasionally to 5 feet west of
Cosgrove Shoal Light. Nearshore waters choppy. Isolated showers.
