Posted: Sun Aug 17, 2008 11:26 am Post subject: Wind Readings Restored as of 5pm - Tower Upgrade
This afternoon (I don't know what time) we will be making some modifications to the tower to help withstand tropical force winds. We we will do everything possible to keep our readings active throughout the storm. If power loss or damage to the tower occurs then we may not be able to provide the data. _________________ Chris

Watch out for mama bird while you are fiddling around with the tower. Maybe while your it, you can clear the rain gauge of bird nests

Ok, the tower has been secured. A special thanks goes out to friends rob (reelweatherman) and Donny (budlite) for assisting in upgrading the tower. It has been strapped down with six guy-wires. Hopefully we don't need to test it through Fay. _________________ Chris
