The NHC has initiated Invest 97L for the strong wave that has come off the African coast. 16.4N, 20.2W, Winds 20 kts, Pressure 1011 MB. More to follow.

Invest 97L has no convection but it's not dead. It is moving wsw towards warmer water and has a large circulation anchored by a 1010 MB low. Watch for it to snap out of stealth mode when it reaches better conditions. Everyone will be saying 'where did that come from'. Very Happy
